Christie Twist is a projector alignment and image-processing software suite that enables warping and blending across multi-projector arrays to create seamless visuals on flat, curved, and irregular surfaces by unifying:

  • Multi-projector warping and edge blending for seamless canvases

  • Pixel mapping to virtually any projection surface and geometry

  • Precision control points for accurate pixel-to-pixel alignment

  • Tiered capability options for simple to highly complex projection mapping

  • Support across a broad Christie projector portfolio (3DLP and select 1DLP families)

  • Works with Christie 3DLP projectors plus Inspire, GS, Jazz, and HS Series 1DLP (with noted exceptions)

  • Three tiers: Twist (free), Twist Premium, and Twist Pro

  • Projector management capacity: 6 (Twist), 18 (Premium), Unlimited (Pro)

  • Control points: up to 81 (Twist), up to 87 including 6 arbitrary points (Premium), up to 1,500 arbitrary or grid points (Pro)

  • Adds advanced capabilities by tier (brightness uniformity, auto blending, complex dome support, unlimited arbitrary points in Pro)

Scope:Led software product execution for a multi-tier warping and blending solution, aligning feature tiers to customer complexity levels, defining usability workflows for projector setup and alignment, and supporting broad projector compatibility across Christie’s portfolio.
Impact:Enabled high-quality multi-projector experiences by making complex warping and blending repeatable and accessible, allowing teams to create seamless, geometrically accurate images across curved and irregular surfaces while scaling from entry-level installs to advanced domes and immersive environments through clear product tiering. This software was a significant differentiator for Christie. I also spearheaded the development of a lite version to work across our 1DLP product portfolio.
